Set Up Membership Pricing

Set up the pricing for your membership by creating or connecting a Stripe product and linking it to your CustomerHub membership so purchases automatically grant access.

Updated this week

What is Pricing in CustomerHub?

CustomerHub uses Stripe to manage prices. Pricing does not exist inside CustomerHub itself. Instead, you connect your membership to a Stripe product that contains one or more Stripe prices (e.g., monthly or annual billing).

Once connected, any purchase made through Stripe can automatically grant access to your CustomerHub membership.

Why Setting Up Pricing Matters

Connecting your membership to a Stripe product allows CustomerHub to:

  • Grant access automatically when someone purchases

  • Send the product access email

  • Display checkout links in your library or sales pages

  • Use Stripe checkout inside CustomerHub

  • Support purchases made anywhere on the internet

  • Keep access synced reliably

This connection is required for selling your membership.

Pricing Requirements Before You Begin

You will need:

  • A Stripe account

  • Either an existing Stripe product or none (CustomerHub can create one for you)

  • CustomerHub connected to Stripe in the Connect Apps section

You can create a Stripe product and price on the fly inside CustomerHub if you don’t have one yet.

Step 1: Connect CustomerHub to Stripe

  1. Go to Admin → Settings → Connectors
    This shows all integrations available.

  2. Find Stripe and click Connect
    This begins the connection flow.

  3. Click Connect and select your existing Stripe account or create a new one
If your email is associated with a Stripe account, CustomerHub will detect it.

  4. Complete the OAuth process
Once authorized, Stripe becomes available throughout CustomerHub.

After connecting, you can configure pricing inside your membership product.

Step 2: Open Your Membership Product Settings

  1. Go to Admin → Products → [Your Membership]
    This opens your membership product.

  2. Look for the Connector Info section on the Info tab
This appears only after Stripe is connected.

  3. Click Configure
This opens the Stripe connection panel for pricing.

If you do not see this option, refresh your browser or reconnect Stripe.

Step 3: Connect or Create a Stripe Product

When configuring your membership, CustomerHub gives you two choices:

  • Connect to an existing Stripe product

  • Create a new Stripe product directly inside CustomerHub

Connect an existing Stripe product

Choose this if you already have a Stripe product created.

  1. Click the Select the stripe product drop-down

  2. Pick the correct product from your Stripe account

  3. Toggle the optional Checkout option on
Use this option If you want to direct CustomerHub visitors or Users to a Stripe Checkout when they click the product

  4. Select the product price (if multiple prices exist) or Create a new price

  5. Save the configuration

CustomerHub will now listen for purchases of this Stripe product and grant access automatically.

Create a new Stripe product through CustomerHub

Choose this if you have not created your membership in Stripe yet.

  1. Select Create new Stripe product

  2. CustomerHub will automatically send:

    • Your product name

    • Your product description

    • Your cover image
to Stripe to create a new product

  3. Click the Select the product price drop-down and set your price

CustomerHub will also create a Stripe price

  4. Save the configuration

CustomerHub and Stripe are now connected with a new product created on the fly.

This mirrors the behavior shown in your transcript.

Step 4: Choose How Customers Will Purchase

  1. Go to the Settings tab of your membership
The Purchase Method controls how CustomerHub routes buyers.

  2. Select a Purchase Method
    Options include:

    • None

    • Send buyer directly to a checkout page

    • Send buyer to a sales page, then to a checkout page

  3. Save your changes
CustomerHub will display the appropriate purchase path in your library and sales pages.

If using Stripe checkout, CustomerHub will automatically use the price you selected when connecting your Stripe product.

Step 5: Enable Checkout If Needed

If you want to sell directly through CustomerHub:

  1. Ensure your membership is connected to a Stripe product

  2. Choose a purchase method that includes a checkout page

  3. Click the + symbols to create or choose a template for your Sales Page and Checkout Page
You can also choose to send them directly to the Sales Page

  4. Configure your Sales Page and Checkout Page

  5. Save your configuration and toggle to Live for each page once complete

Visitors will now be routed to the correct checkout, whether direct or via a CustomerHub-hosted sales page.

Step 6: Confirm the Checkout Link

Depending on your setup:

  • Direct checkout uses your Stripe checkout link

  • CustomerHub-hosted sales pages will show both the sales page URL and checkout URL

Any of these links can be used in:

  • Websites

  • Landing pages

  • Email marketing

  • Paid ads

  • Social media

CustomerHub will grant access automatically after purchase.

Examples of Pricing Setups

  • Monthly or annual membership with Stripe checkout

  • Membership sold through a CustomerHub sales page

  • Membership sold through an external funnel using a Stripe checkout link

  • All-access membership connected to one Stripe product

  • Hybrid setup where courses and memberships each have their own Stripe products

Troubleshooting / FAQ

“Why doesn’t the Configure button show up?”
Stripe must be connected first. Refresh after connecting.

“Where do I edit prices?”
Prices are edited in Stripe, not inside CustomerHub.

“Can I use an external checkout page?”
