Introduction

Connecting CustomerHub to Zapier is easy and allows you to run automation on User activity and update new and existing Users. These include:

Type of Automation

Description

Create or Update Users

Update a user's name and/or email. Also, grant or remove product access to new or existing users in CustomerHub.

Grant / Remove Product Access

Trigger Zapier when a User is granted access to or removed from a specific Product.

Multi-media viewed, listened, or downloaded.

Trigger Zapier every time a user watches a specific video, listens to an audio, or downloads a file.

Product or Page completed

Trigger Zapier when a user completes a specific page or product.

User engagement Status

Trigger Zapier when a user becomes active or inactive.

User login activity

Trigger Zapier any time a user logs into CustomerHub.

How to Connect

  1. Log in to your CustomerHub app: https://app.customerhub.com/

  2. Navigate to app Settings > Connectors

  3. Click LEARN MORE on the Zapier connector.

  4. This will redirect you to log in to your Zapier account.

Log in to Zapier and create a Zap

  • Navigate to your Zaps page (https://zapier.com/app/zaps)

  • Click the Create Zap button (top right)

  • Search for "CustomerHub" in the trigger step

If this is your first time creating a CustomerHub Zap, you will be prompted to connect a New Account. In the new connection pop-up, log in to CustomerHub as an admin and then authorize the Zapier / CustomerHub connection on the next screen.

Authorize Zapier to connect to your CustomerHub App (The screenshot above is only applicable if your Admin account is connected to multiple apps)

After logging in and authorizing the connection, you'll get sent back to your zap where you now have your CustomerHub account connected. Now you can complete the Zap setup.

Set up your Zap trigger (learn more)

Select your trigger event type and proceed with the remaining zap setup steps.

NOTE: During the Set-up trigger step you may be required to specify additional trigger options. For example, the User Product Access Granted trigger will require you to select a specific product from your CustomerHub. See below

Click continue to test and then complete the Action portion of your Zap. Learn More

How do I disconnect CustomerHub from Zapier?

CustomerHub connectors method:

  1. Log in to your CustomerHub app: https://app.customerhub.com/

  2. Navigate to app Settings > Connectors

  3. Click the 3 dots menu on Zapier and click "disconnect"

  4. Done

Note: This will disconnect CustomerHub from Zapier but your Zapier account connection will still exist. (See Zapier method below)
