Updated this week

Overview

The Product Library page in CustomerHub allows users to browse, filter, and search through a variety of products offered by your site. It’s designed to make finding and accessing content easy and intuitive. Here’s a quick guide on how to use the features available on the Product Library page.

Note: By default, the Library page can be viewed by logged in users as well as site visitors. If you would like to hide this page from site visitors you can disable the Enable Public Content option in App Settings.

Navigating the Library Page

The Library page serves as a central hub for all your available products (courses, challenges, memberships, etc.). Each product is displayed in a card format with key information, such as:

  • Product Title

  • Short Description

  • Completion Status (if applicable)

  • Duration (for time-based content)

  • Categories (e.g., Membership, Challenge)

At the top of the page, you'll find options to search or filter the library based on categories or keywords.

Features Overview

Search and Filter Options

Located at the top of the library, you have several ways to quickly find the products you're interested in:

  • Category Filter: This dropdown allows you to filter products by specific categories. If you want to see all available content, leave the default setting on "All categories."

  • Search Bar: You can search for products by typing a keyword (such as a product name or description) into the search bar. This feature is helpful if you're looking for something specific.

  • Search Button: After typing your search query or selecting a category, click the Search button to display the relevant results. If you want to return to the full list of products, click the "reset search" link.

Product Cards

Each product appears as a card on the page, containing:

  • Product Image: A visual representation of the product (for example, a surfer on a board for surfing lessons).

  • Completion Status: If you are working through a course or program, the product card will display your progress percentage or show "Completed" if you’ve finished the course.

  • Action Links:

    • Let's Do This: If the product is in progress or hasn’t been started, click this button to start or continue.

    • Completed: If the product is finished, you will see a checkmark.

    • Buy Now: If the product has a purchase method set, it will automatically send the user to a sales or checkout page.

Collections

Products that are set up as collections (such as memberships, bundles, challenges, etc) will have a clear label, like this:

And products that are a part of a collection will have a marker under the product description with the same color that matches the color for the collection, like this:

Note: When users consume content as a part of a collection, the progress for the entire collection is tracked across all products, so a user can see their progress across the entire collection and easily pick up where they left off.

Example Scenario

Let's say the user is looking for a specific fitness course. Here are some steps they would follow to find it:

  1. Category Filter: Select "Fitness" from the dropdown menu.

  2. Search Bar: If you know the title, type it in (e.g., "30-Day Surf Fitness Challenge").

  3. Click Search: The results will automatically filter to show only products related to your selection.

  4. Start a Course: Click the "Let’s Do This" link to begin (assuming they have access).

Additional Notes

  • Multiple Filters: You can combine the category filter and the search function for more specific results.

  • Responsive Design: This page is fully responsive, allowing you to browse from both desktop and mobile devices seamlessly.
