What’s changing?

We’re rolling out changes to our pricing designed to better align with our new product vision and better serve our customers. Starting August 1, 2025, we’ll offer three core plans and introduce affordable multimedia storage tiers.

I’m a current customer. Will my pricing change?

No. If you’re an existing customer on the $79/mo plan, you are grandfathered in to the new Educate plan at your current price — with no change to your access or features. This price is locked in for the duration of your active subscription.

Multimedia Storage Tiers

Starting August 1, we are introducing new storage tiers for customers with over 50GB of stored multimedia. Here’s how it works:

How does billing for multimedia storage work?

Multimedia storage is billed monthly based on your total storage at the time of your subscription renewal:

  • Monthly plans: Any applicable multimedia charges will be added to your regular subscription on your monthly renewal date.

  • Annual plans: Multimedia charges will be billed separately every 30 days from the start of your annual subscription.

You’ll only be charged if you go over 50GB of total multimedia storage. And you won’t be charged the moment you go over, but rather on your next bill date.

Example: If your renewal date is the 20th and you go over 50GB on the 5th, you won’t be charged immediately. Instead, you’ll be billed $5 on your next renewal date (the 20th). This fee will continue on each renewal date until your usage drops below the 50GB threshold or moves into a different tier.

You’ll always have visibility into your current storage usage on the Multimedia page inside your account.

Why are we introducing multimedia storage pricing?

As more customers upload large amounts of video, audio, and image content to CustomerHub, the cost to deliver and store that content at scale has increased significantly. To ensure we can continue to offer a fast, reliable platform—and invest in new AI capabilities—we're introducing modest pricing tiers for accounts that use more than 50GB of storage.

This change helps us:

  • Keep CustomerHub sustainable as we grow

  • Continue investing in innovation and infrastructure

  • Offer world-class performance for all users

Good news: A majority of customers won’t see any change. And for those who do, our pricing is still extremely affordable compared to other platforms.

Can I avoid multimedia storage fees?

Yes! If you would like to avoid paying for CustomerHub's multimedia services, you can simply host your multimedia on external multimedia platforms such as YouTube, Vimeo, Wistia, Zoom, etc.

And to make it easier to use these platforms with CustomerHub, we’re rolling out support for additional media connectors, starting with YouTube and Zoom connectors in July, along with Vimeo in the near future. These connectors will make it simple to embed hosted videos directly into your CustomerHub site without using our multimedia storage.

When do all of the pricing changes take effect?

  • Now: You can preview multimedia usage in-app (Settings > Multimedia)

  • August 1, 2025: New plans and multimedia pricing go live

  • Q4: New Engage plan launches with full community features
