What is Membership Content in CustomerHub?
Membership content includes everything members can access once they join your program. In CustomerHub, you can deliver content in three ways:
Sections and pages built directly in the membership
Standalone products added into the membership
Member-only posts shared through your site’s feed
Each method serves a different purpose and together they create a complete membership experience.
Why Adding Content Properly Matters
Your content structure shapes how members use and understand your membership. A well-organized experience helps members:
Know where to start
Navigate confidently
Avoid overwhelm
Make consistent progress
Stay engaged over time
Clear content keeps your membership valuable and easy to consume.
Three Ways to Add Membership Content
There are three ways to add content inside CustomerHub:
Method 1: Add sections and pages directly in the membership product
Method 2: Add standalone products
Method 3: Add member-only posts
Each appears in a different part of CustomerHub and serves a unique purpose.
Method 1: Add Sections and Pages
Use this method to create core membership content directly inside the membership product.
Go to Admin → Products → [Your Membership]
This opens your membership.
Open the Content tab
This is where you add internal sections and pages.
Add a Section if needed
Sections act as modules or categories.
Add a Page
Pages act as lessons and can contain text, video, links, or files.Name your page
Select a page template and Click "Create".
Add your media and written content
Upload files or embed video as needed.Example: For a "Lesson" template you will edit the video, document download, and the written content.
Publish your content by clicking "Save"
Published items become visible to members with access.
Sections and pages are ideal for your internal curriculum, welcome pages, monthly lessons, and structured content.
Method 2: Add Standalone Products (Advanced)
Use this method to include full courses, programs, workshops, or other products inside your membership.
Create the standalone product separately
Products must exist before they can be included.Go to Admin → Products → Click the + button
Example: Select "Digital Download"
Enter a Name and a Description and click "Create"
Edit your product Content
Edit your product Settings and click "Save"
Set your product to "Live" and click "Save" on the Info tab
Go to Admin → Products → [Your Membership] → Settings
Included products are added here.Scroll to Included Products
This appears under the Collections section.
Select the products you want to include
Choose one or multiple products.
Save your changes
Included products will appear in the Content tab and follow the membership’s delivery rules.
Standalone products are perfect for memberships that include courses, multi-program access, or bonuses.
Method 3: Add Member-Only Posts
Posts allow you to deliver lightweight, ongoing content that appears in your site’s feed.
Go to Admin → Posts
This opens your site-wide posting area.Create a new post
Enter a title and add your content, such as text, images, or video.
Set visibility
Choose which members can access the post by selecting "Custom"
Keep who it applies to "Users who have access to"
Select your products
Click "Create"
Add your multimedia and edit your content
Save and publish
The post will appear in the member feed for anyone who has access to the selected membership.Click "Save"
Toggle "Draft" to "Live"
Posts are ideal for quick wins, weekly updates, tips, announcements, and supplemental member value.
Organizing Membership Content
All internal content (sections, pages, and included products) appears in the Content tab. You can reorder items to control the member experience, especially if using User Advanced or Time Delayed delivery methods.
Posts appear in your site feed rather than in the membership’s Content tab, but still function as membership content when restricted to specific product access.
Examples of Membership Content Structures
A Start Here page plus a library of lessons
An all-access membership with multiple included courses
Weekly posts that deliver new value
A mix of pages, included products, and member-only posts
Troubleshooting / FAQ
“Why don’t I see a product I want to include?”
It must be created first as its own product.
“Why can’t members access a page?”
Make sure the page is published and the member has product access.
“Where do posts appear?”
Posts appear in your site’s main feed, not inside the membership’s Content tab.
“Can all three methods be used in the same membership?”
Yes. Many memberships use pages for core material, products for courses, and posts for ongoing updates.
