This guide explains the key user navigation pages and experiences in CustomerHub — including how users interact with their dashboard, product library, feed, directory, filebox, and notification center.

🏠 User Dashboard Page (Home)
The User Dashboard (or Home) page gives users an organized overview of their onboarding progress and products.
Key Features
Pinned Notes
(Optional) You can toggle on the Pin option to pin a note to your user's Dashboard. Pin a user note when viewing a user as an admin in the "Notes" section. See the User Notes article for more info...
Onboarding Summary
Shows a visual progress bar representing how many onboarding tasks are completed vs. total tasks.
A Next Steps button guides users to the next incomplete task.
Once all tasks are completed, this section disappears.
My Stuff Section
Displays active and completed products the user has access to.
Each card shows progress percentage and a Completed label when finished.
Users can toggle Show Completed products on/off.
If no products are available, it shows an empty state prompting users to explore the library.
Library Teaser
Appears below the “My Stuff” section and encourages users to browse the full library.
Includes a Library button that opens the product catalog.
How Users Interact
Resume onboarding by clicking the arrow next to the progress bar.
Access products by clicking on any product card.
Toggle product views between active and completed.
Explore more content using the Library button in empty states or teaser areas.
📚 Product Library Page
The Product Library lets users browse, filter, and search all available products — including courses, challenges, and memberships.
Note: By default, the Library page can be viewed by logged in users as well as site visitors. If you would like to hide this page from site visitors you can disable the Enable Public Content option in App Settings.
What Users See
Search bar: Users can enter keywords to find specific products.
Category filter: Filter products by category (e.g., memberships, courses).
Product cards: Each card includes:
Product image
Title and description
Action link:
Let’s Do This: Start or continue a product
Completed: Shows a checkmark
Buy Now: Takes the user to a checkout if there’s a purchase method set
Browse Features
Responsive design: Works on both desktop and mobile.
Combine filters: Users can use both search and filters to narrow results.
Collections: When products are part of a collection, they’re marked visually and progress tracks across the whole collection.
And products that are a part of a collection will have a marker under the product description with the same color that matches the color for the collection, like this:
Note: When users consume content as a part of a collection, the progress for the entire collection is tracked across all products, so a user can see their progress across the entire collection and easily pick up where they left off.
📰 User Feed (“My Feed”)
The User Feed is a social‑style activity page showing posts, announcements, and updates published by site admins.
The feed can be delivered as a standalone experience using a micro membership model, or to supplement traditional online courses or membership products (delivered via the product library).
Post Layout
Each post can include:
Image or video (optional)
Title
Text content
CTA links such as “Redeem Promo” or “Sign Up”
Author and date info
Visibility icons (lock icon for private posts)
Interactions
Like: Users can express appreciation for a post by clicking the heart icon. The number of likes is displayed next to it.
Comment: If the post allows comments, users can join the conversation by clicking the comment icon, which displays how many comments the post has received.
Reply: Users can reply directly to a comment by clicking the reply option below the original comment
Load more: Click “Load More” to see older posts
Visibility Rules
Public posts: Visible even when not logged in
Private posts: Marked by a lock icon, these are only visible to logged-in users with the necessary permissions.
Featured Posts
Feature this post?: If this option was selected it will create an app wide announcement at the top of the site for users who can view the post.
Call-to-Action Links
Posts may contain links that prompt users to take specific actions. These Call-to-Action (CTA) links encourage users to engage with offers, announcements, or external resources. Examples of common CTAs include:
Promotions: Posts offering discounts or deals might have a "Redeem This Promo" link, which users can click to take advantage of the offer.
Sign-ups: Other posts may feature a "Sign Up Now" link for events, courses, or newsletters.
External Resources: CTA links can direct users to external pages, such as blogs or partner websites, for more information.
Dedicated post page
When users receive any post email notifications they are directed to a dedicated page for that post. This ensures that users view the correct post and can engage most easily and effectively with your new content."
Troubleshooting
Missing Posts: If users don’t see a post they expected, check if they are logged in. Private posts require login and appropriate permissions.
Like, Comment, or Reply Issues: If users are unable to like, comment, or reply, ensure they are logged in. Additionally, some posts may restrict comments and replies.
👥 User Directory
The User Directory allows users to discover others who share access to the same products or memberships, fostering community and collaboration.
How to Enable the User Directory
Admins can enable the directory by:
Going to the Settings (⚙️) in the Admin Dashboard
Selecting App Settings
Turning on the toggle for Enable user Directory
Once enabled, the directory will appear as a navigation option for users.
Key Features
Search and filter: Users can filter by name or product access
Pagination: Displays 30 users per page with navigation for more
Profile cards: Show basic user info for each directory entry
Access Logic
Only users with shared product access are visible to each other in the directory.
📁 User Filebox
The User Filebox is a private, secure space for file exchange between an admin and a specific user.
How to Enable the User Filebox
Admins can enable the filebox feature by:
Going to the Settings (⚙️) in the Admin Dashboard
Selecting App Settings
Turning on the toggle for Enable user Filebox
Once enabled, each user will have their own secure filebox accessible from their navigation menu.
How It Works
One‑on‑one file sharing: Only the selected user and admins can see the files.
Upload/download: Both parties can upload and download files relevant to that user.
Search & filter: Locate files by name or type.
Notifications: Admins can notify users when new files are shared.
Limits
Each file upload is limited to 5MB.
Filebox functions for Admins
To upload and manage user files as an Admin, navigate to a user record and click on the Filebox tab as pictured below:
The following Admin functions are available (functions corresponding with numbers on image above):
Search for a file by name, type, or role
Filter by type of file: Shared by Admin or Uploaded by User
Upload new files
Notify a user via email that a new file has been shared
Download the file
Delete the file
Filebox functions for Users
To upload and manage files as a User, login to the user site, then click on Filebox from the User dropdown options:

Search by Category: Shared by Admin or Uploaded by User
Search by Name or Type
Upload new file(s)
Download file
Please note: Admins are automatically notified by email when a new file has been uploaded by a user.
FAQ's
Can users see all files?
No—users can only see their own filebox and files they’ve uploaded or that have been shared individually with them by an Admin.
Is there a limit to the number of files?
There is no overall cap, but individual uploads are capped at 5MB each.
🔔 User Notification Center
The Notification Center keeps users informed of activity happening across their site in real time.
What Users See
After logging in, a notification bell icon appears in the navigation (Motivate theme uses a dropdown; Foundation theme shows a slide‑out).
After clicking on the notification center icon, a dropdown (Motivate theme) or slideout (Foundation theme) menu displays.
Types of Notifications
Users receive alerts when:
New products are added to their access list
New posts appear in their feed
Other users like or reply to their comments
Actions
Users can:
Mark all notifications as read
Mark individual notifications as read
Delete all or delete individual notifications
Click View to navigate to the relevant item
📝 Updating Your User Profile
Both admins and end users can update user profile information.
How Users Update their Profile
Click the profile image or initials in the site header
Select “My Profile”
Users have the ability to update the following information:

Users can also click on the Click here to manage your notification preferences link which is included at the bottom of all emails coming from CustomerHub to be taken directly to the Notification tab on their user profile:
