Admin Dashboard & Notifications

Updated over a week ago

This article explains how admins can monitor key metrics in the Admin Dashboard, and how to enable and manage both in‑app and email notifications for important events. You’ll learn what data is available, how to enable notification settings, and where admins control alerts for activity across your CustomerHub site.

📊 Admin Dashboard Overview

The Admin Dashboard gives you a high‑level view of the performance and activity on your CustomerHub site, helping you monitor trends and make data‑driven decisions.

What You’ll See

The dashboard displays key metrics such as:

  • Total Users — How many users are in your site

  • Total Unique Logins (Last 30 Days) — How often users are logging in

  • Users Added (Last 30 Days) — New accounts created recently

  • % Active Users (Last 30 Days) — Percentage of users who have logged in over the past month

These metrics help you gauge engagement, growth, and overall activity at a glance.

Why It Matters

Regularly reviewing your admin dashboard can help you spot opportunities or issues early:

  • A drop in active users may indicate content engagement problems

  • A spike in new users could show that recent marketing is working

  • Login trends can inform content release timing or onboarding improvements

🔔 Admin In‑App Notifications

CustomerHub also allows admins to receive notifications for key activity — such as comments, replies, and onboarding messages — directly via email. These are separate from user notifications and must be enabled by each admin individually.

Which Admin Notifications Are Available

Admins can opt in to receive emails when the following occur:

  • Onboarding experience messages (required)

  • New comments (optional)

  • Direct replies to a comment you’ve made (optional)

Each notification is sent to the admin’s CustomerHub email address.

How to Enable or Disable Admin Notifications

To configure admin notifications:

  1. Log in to CustomerHub as an admin

  2. Open your admin profile settings (click your name or avatar at the bottom left of the Admin Console)

  3. Look for the notifications section

  4. Toggle the options on or off based on what alerts you want to receive

    • New comment alerts

    • Reply notifications

    • Onboarding messages

⚠️ These admin notification options are not enabled by default; each admin who wants alerts must turn them on manually.

📧 Admin Email Notification Management

CustomerHub’s Email Notifications Management feature gives you control over which transactional emails are sent — including which admins receive them.

What You Can Manage

With Email Notification Management, you can:

  • Choose which users receive email alerts (e.g., product updates, comment replies)

  • Enable or disable notifications based on admin or user preferences

  • Reduce email fatigue by limiting auto‑notifications only to relevant recipients

This helps ensure that notifications are meaningful, timely, and aligned with each admin’s role.

How It Works for Admins

Admins can control notification preferences directly from:

  • Admin profile settings: Toggle notification types on or off for your admin account

  • User management interface: Adjust individual user’s subscription options (including admins) from their profile’s “Notifications” tab when viewing user records

Common Email Alerts That Can Be Managed

CustomerHub supports several email alert types — many of which apply to both users and admins:

  • Product content updates

  • Post access or new feed notifications

  • Comment reply notifications

  • Onboarding reminders

Admins can instruct users to manage their own preferences or adjust these centrally when appropriate.

🧠 Summary

The Admin Dashboard gives you essential visibility into user engagement and growth patterns on your CustomerHub site. In addition, in‑app and email notification settings allow admins to stay informed about key events — such as comments, replies, and activity related to onboarding experiences — by opting in to alerts that matter most.
