What is the Delivery Experience?
The delivery experience determines how and when your membership content becomes available to members. This includes the release behavior for:
Sections
Pages
Included products
The delivery experience is controlled by the Delivery Method setting under the product’s Settings tab.
Why the Delivery Experience Matters
Choosing the right delivery method helps you:
Control member flow through your content
Reduce overwhelm by pacing content
Ensure members progress in the right order
Support structured programs or self-paced access
Create intentional learning experiences
A clear delivery method helps your membership function the way you designed it.
Delivery Methods in CustomerHub
CustomerHub offers three delivery methods:
Immediate
User Advanced
Time Delayed
Each determines when content becomes available and how members unlock it.
Immediate Delivery
Immediate delivery makes all content available as soon as a member gains access.
Best for:
Library memberships
Community-focused memberships
Ongoing resource hubs
Memberships with no strict progression
Member experience:
Members can browse and access all sections, pages, and included products without restrictions.
User Advanced Delivery
User Advanced unlocks content progressively based on completion. Members must finish one item before the next becomes available.
How it works:
Unlock order is set by the order of items in the Content tab
A member must complete item 1 before item 2 unlocks
This applies to both pages and included products
Best for:
Guided learning paths
Sequential programs
Certifications
Structured curriculums
Example:
If your Content tab order is:
Lesson 1
Lesson 2
Course A (included product)
Lesson 3
Then each item unlocks only when the previous one is marked complete.
Time Delayed Delivery
Time Delayed releases content on a schedule you choose. Members receive content based on a time interval measured in days, weeks, or months.
How it works:
Unlock order is based on Content tab order
First item is available immediately
Second item unlocks after the specified time
Third item unlocks after double that time
Continues indefinitely
Works with pages and included products
Best for:
Drip content memberships
Evergreen programs
Timed releases
Habit or challenge-based programs
Example:
If Time Delayed is set to 7 days and your Content tab has 4 items:
Item 1: Day 0
Item 2: Day 7
Item 3: Day 14
Item 4: Day 21

How Content Order Affects Delivery

Included products appear in the Content tab after you add them in Settings and follow the same rules.

Troubleshooting / FAQ
“My content isn’t unlocking in the right order.”
Check the order of items in the Content tab. Delivery always follows that sequence.
“Why doesn’t an included product show in my Content tab?”
Included Products must be selected in Settings before they appear in Content.
“Can I change delivery methods later?”
Yes. You can switch methods at any time, and CustomerHub will apply the new behavior immediately.
“Where do I set the delay interval?”
If Time Delayed is selected, you will be prompted to choose days, weeks, or months for spacing.
