πŸ“˜ What Are Product Sections?

Sections are structural dividers used inside Standard Products to group related pages (lessons). They appear as modules or units and help users track progress more easily.

Example:
If your course has 20 lessons, you might divide them into 4 sections:

  • Section 1: Getting Started

  • Section 2: Core Concepts

  • Section 3: Practice Exercises

  • Section 4: Final Steps

🧠 Best Practice: Use sections when your product contains 10+ pages or covers multiple phases/topics.


βž• How to Add a Section

  1. Open any Standard Product

  2. Go to Content tab

  3. Click the blue βž• Add button

  4. Choose Section
    ​

  5. Give your section a name

  6. Click Create


πŸ“₯ How to Add Pages to Sections

After creating a section:

  1. Use drag-and-drop to move existing pages under the section

  2. You can create multiple sections in any product

🧠 Note: You can’t nest a section within another section. This turns the section into a Page.


✏️ Manage Your Sections

  • Rename a section: Click the β€’β€’β€’ menu next to the section title

  • Delete a section: First move all of the pages out of the section then click the β€’β€’β€’ menu

  • Reorder sections: Use drag-and-drop to move sections up or down


🎯 Why Use Sections?

  • Improve course navigation

  • Help users see their progress

  • Group content by theme, topic, or phase

  • Keep long courses digestible

Add a section to a page

  1. Go to any product page list and click the blue + icon in the top right.

  2. Select Section in the dropdown

  3. Give it a name

  4. Click CREATE

NOTE: Sections can not be added to other sections. To delete a section you must remove all pages first.
