Add Your Course Content

Create and organize the lessons (pages) and modules (sections) that make up your course content.

Updated this week

What Is Course Content Inside CustomerHub?

Course content is created inside your Standard Product using:

  • Pages — your lessons

  • Sections — optional modules or content groupings

  • Media elements — videos, text, PDFs, audio, images, downloads, etc.

This is where your mapped course outline becomes the actual learning experience users interact with.

Why Adding Course Content Matters

The content you add determines:

  • What users will learn

  • How they’ll progress through lessons

  • How easy the course is to follow

  • The overall quality and usability of the course

Each page should be purposeful, organized, and aligned with your course promise.

How to Add Your Course Content

  1. Open your course product
Go to Products and select your Standard Product.

  2. Navigate to the Content tab
All lessons (pages) and modules (sections) are added here.

  3. Add your sections (optional)
Use Add Section if your course is organized into modules or phases.

  4. Add your pages (lessons)
Use Add Page to create each lesson based on your mapped structure.

  5. Insert lesson content
Add video, written content, images, downloads, or embedded media into each lesson page.

    1. Toggle Draft to Live once you're done adding all of your content

  6. Organize your content
Drag and drop pages and sections to match your intended learning flow.

  7. Review your full structure
Confirm that the order of lessons supports a clear, progressive learning path.

Best Practices

  • Keep each lesson focused on one topic

  • Use short, clear videos or text for better engagement

  • Use sections for larger courses to improve navigation

  • Add supporting downloads only when helpful

  • Use consistent naming across modules and lessons

  • Match content to the delivery method (Immediate, User-Advanced, Time-Delayed)

FAQ

Do I need sections for my course?
No. You can build a course with just pages. Sections are optional but helpful for multi-module programs.

Can I add multiple content types to a page?
Yes. Pages can include video, text, images, audio, links, and downloads.

Can I reorder pages later?
Absolutely. Drag and drop lets you reorganize anytime.

Can I build content first, then organize?
Yes, but most users find it easier to follow their mapped course outline.
