💬 Overview
The User Comments feature allows your site users to share feedback, ask questions, and engage in conversations directly on your content pages. In this article, you'll learn how to enable comments across your site, moderate discussions, and maintain a positive, respectful environment. You'll also discover options for approving, deleting, or replying to comments, giving you full control over the conversation. Whether you're building a learning community or collecting user insights, enabling comments helps foster interaction and deepen user engagement.

Build a stronger community across your CustomerHub site by fostering user engagement via comments. 💬 With comments, your users can engage with one another on Products and Posts.
Users can click the "Comments" icon on Posts to start the conversation.
Users can reply and/or "like" 🩷 Post comments to keep the conversation going.
🛡️ Moderating Comments
As an Admin you have the following moderation options for comments and replies:
Comment
Reply
Like
Edit (an edited comment/reply will say it was modified by the admin)
Delete
Products
You can enable comments on products by turning on the Enable comments toggle in Advanced Settings (in the Settings tab) for any product:
Once enabled, all pages in the product will automatically display comments by default and a comment indicator will display for each page listed in the Content tab.
⚠️ Comments can also be disabled on a page-by-page basis by selecting the "Disable Comments" option in the kebab menu.
Once disabled for a given page, the page will display a disabled comments indicator.
All comments for a product will display on the Comments tab on the product.
Comments can also be filtered by page/lesson by selecting the filter dropdown.
To add a comment as an Admin, click the New Comment button, select the page where you would like to add a comment, and then click 'Create'.
Admins can edit, like, reply, or delete a specific comment by clicking on the corresponding buttons or kebab menu on each comment.
Admin comments posted from the dashboard appear alongside user comments.
Posts
Posts now live under Community → Feed in the admin sidebar. Comments are enabled on an individual post basis from the content section of each post using the Display comments for this post? toggle.
⚠️ Post comments are enabled by default when creating new posts.
Comments on posts will display in the Comments tab for each post and can be managed in all of the same ways as listed above for products.
📋 Community Moderation
All comments and moderation actions across your entire CustomerHub site are now managed from the Moderation page, located under Community → Moderation in the admin sidebar.
The Moderation page includes four tabs:
PENDING — Review reported content and items awaiting approval. Reports submitted by community users will appear here for review.
ARCHIVE — Review previously moderated items and their outcomes (e.g. auto-approved, approved).
SUSPENDED — View and manage suspended users.
SETTINGS — Configure moderation rules including approval gates, new-user gating, moderation task assignment, rate limits, auto-hide on reports, word blocklist, and external link policies.
The PENDING tab displays reported content submitted by community users for admin review.
The ARCHIVE tab shows previously moderated items and their outcomes.
The SETTINGS tab allows you to configure approval gates, rate limits, word blocklist, and other moderation rules.
⚙️ Comment Settings
You can control how users interact with comments from Community → Settings → FEED tab. The following comment-specific settings are available:
Allow users to edit comments — Toggle on to let users edit their own comments. Set a Comment edit window (minutes) to limit how long after posting a user can edit. Set to 0 for unlimited.
Allow users to delete comments — Toggle on to let users delete their own comments.
💡 These settings apply to all comments across your Community feed. Product comments are controlled separately using the Enable comments toggle in each product's Advanced Settings.
