ℹ️ Most of what this article covers — Spaces, Content Moderation, Achievements and the Leaderboard, plus letting members post — requires the Engage version of CustomerHub. On Educate, the community feed is admin-post only.
🧭 Overview
The Community feature in CustomerHub brings social engagement directly into your member site. It provides a central hub for posts, topic-based spaces, content moderation, gamification through achievements and leaderboards — all managed from a single dashboard.
The Community dashboard gives you quick access to all core sections:
Feed — Share updates and organize them into spaces
Moderation — Review reports, approve pending content, and manage suspended users
Achievements — Gamify the experience with badges, milestones, and recognition
Leaderboard — Highlight top contributors with points and activity streaks
Settings — Configure user defaults, directory visibility, and notification preferences. Feed, moderation, and engagement settings now live on their respective section pages
Navigate to Community from the sidebar to access the dashboard.
📝 Feed & Posts
The Feed is where community conversation happens. You publish posts — updates, announcements, resources — and users read, like, and comment on them. Posts can be organized into Spaces so the right people see the right content.
📄 For creating and managing posts and spaces step by step, see Community Feed Management: Posts & Spaces.
🏘️ Spaces
Spaces are topic-based sub-communities within your feed. Use them to organize posts by product, segment, or custom audience so users only see what is relevant to them. A post can belong to more than one space.
📄 For setting up and managing spaces, see Community Feed Management: Posts & Spaces.
🛡️ Content Moderation
Moderation gives you control over what gets posted in your community. You can approve content before it goes live, review reports submitted by users, and suspend users who break your rules.
📄 For the full walkthrough of the moderation queue, archive, and settings, see Community Content Moderation.
🏆 Achievements
Achievements are badges users earn for reaching milestones — publishing a number of posts, finishing a journey, and so on. They add a layer of recognition that encourages users to keep participating.
📄 For creating and configuring achievements, see Community Achievements & Leaderboard.
📊 Leaderboard
The Leaderboard ranks users by the engagement points they earn from posting, commenting, and receiving likes. It gives your most active contributors visible recognition, and you can show it to users as a navigation item on your member site.
📄 For how points work and how to manage the leaderboard, see Community Achievements & Leaderboard.
