Kit (ConvertKit) Connector

How to connect Kit (formerly ConvertKit) to CustomerHub — syncing users to subscribers, managing product and segment tags, and triggering email automations from member activity.

🔗 Overview

Connectors are used to sync data with your existing business tools and CustomerHub. With the Kit (formerly ConvertKit) connector, you can:

  • Sync CustomerHub users to Kit subscribers

  • Create and manage Kit tags for products and segments

  • Apply activity tags to trigger Kit automations

  • Automate email sequences based on CustomerHub user activity

🚀 Get Started

Follow the steps below to connect your Kit account to CustomerHub:

  1. Click Settings (gear icon) in the sidebar, hover over Workspace, then click Connectors.

  2. Find the Kit card and click CONNECT.

  3. In the connection dialog, enter your Kit API Key:

    • API Key — Found in Kit under Settings → Developer → API Key.

  4. Click CONNECT to complete the setup.

💡 Once connected, CustomerHub automatically creates a corresponding Kit tag for each of your CustomerHub products. You can view the tag name and ID in each product’s settings under the Connector data section.

🔄 What Happens After Connecting

Once the Kit connector is active, the following sync occurs:

  • Product tags — A Kit tag is automatically created for each CustomerHub product. Apply that tag to a subscriber in Kit to grant them access in CustomerHub.

  • Subscriber sync — CustomerHub users are synced to Kit as subscribers. New users added to CustomerHub will also appear in Kit.

  • Activity tags — Activity tags are applied to subscribers in Kit based on their actions in CustomerHub, allowing you to trigger Kit automations and email sequences.

  • Bidirectional sync — Changes are synced in both directions via webhooks, keeping your Kit and CustomerHub data in sync automatically.

⚙️ Manage Your Connection

After connecting, click the (three-dot menu) on the Kit connector card to access management options:

  • Options — View and configure connector settings.

  • Reconnect — Re-authenticate with Kit if your API key has changed.

  • Disconnect — Remove the Kit connection from CustomerHub.

⚠️ Disconnecting will stop all syncing between CustomerHub and Kit. Product tags created during the connection will remain in Kit but will no longer be managed by CustomerHub.
