Unable to connect ActiveCampaign to CustomerHub

The following guide will teach you how to resolve the issue with ActiveCampaign and CustomerHub integrations if you encounter the error mentioned below;

  • A server error occurred. Please try again.

  • Validation failed: Connection failed. Please check the API Url or Key and try again.

It indicates that there may have been changes to the API on ActiveCampaign's side, rendering it invalid.

Solution: Reconnect and reset API key

  1. Go to ActiveCampaign.

  2. Under the Dashboard, click the Gear icon to access the Settings on bottom left corner above your icon.

3. Select the Developer option.

4. Under API access, click on "Reset API Key"

5. Copy the API URL and API Key and paste it on ActiveCampaign app under Connectors in CustomerHub.

6. Once you click on Connect, it will take about a minute to connect to your account.

7. Once it's done, it will show "Connected" and everything will be sync in ActiveCampaign.
